Supercars: “We’ll See About That” Says Paulie After Will Davison’s Praise For DJR Pace

Following a successful test day at Queensland Raceway, Will Davison has praised the DJR (no more Team Penske, get over it) Mustang, with words to the effect of “yeah it’s f**king quick”.
Unfortunately for everyone, his comments have apparently come to the attention of Paulie the Parity Pelican and his team of Parity Warriors, who are deeply unimpressed at the prospect of spending yet another year trying to make the DJR cars slow enough for Triple 8 to beat them.
“Yeah, look, frankly we’re a bit confused.” Paulie told The Waterton Chronicle.
“We thought we’d made it pretty clear by pushing Penske and Scotty (Scott McLaughlin) out of the series, and in fact the country, that we won’t tolerate this kind of treachery.”
This reporter understands that what Paulie means by “treachery” is Triple 8 not winning everything.
“So we feel a bit offended to be honest. Now we’re going to have to spend all of the 2021 season once again re-educating DJR about how things work around here.” the seabird squawked.
When pressed on what he meant by ‘around here’, the giant talking pelican was clear.
“Look mate, are you a bit slow? It’s pretty obvious we can’t have other teams turning up to race meetings and trying to win races?!” Paulie squeaked, angrily.
