Reports are coming in that Triple 8 boss Roland Dane may have recalled the squadron of Parity Pelicans currently enroute to Florida, so that they can attend an emergency meeting to discuss the lengths to which they’re willing to go to ensure the Camaro wins in it’s debut season in 2022.
The Waterton Chronicle understands Mr Dane is concerned that if Triple 8 goes to an entirely new car in 2022, they might end up at the back of the grid, “like what happened to the Kelly Gang and Erebus with their Mercs.”
“Obviously, we can’t have that happen to Triple 8, so we’re just going to have a bit of a chat to the Pelicans running the show.” Roland explained.
When this reporter asked Roland why Triple 8 deserves special consideration from the pelicans when those exact pelicans royally fxxked the Nissans and the Mercs as a result of Triple 8’s whingeing, Roland was defiant.
“Well yeah. But they’re not us, are they?”.
Our reporter on the ground in Honolulu, where the Parity Pelicans are resting up, has reported that the seabirds are less than impressed with the prospect of having to fly back against the prevailing wind on such short notice.
More to come.
