Jack Smith and Simona de Silvestro have managed to slightly quieten the keyboard warriors tonight by proving that iRacing is actually a pretty realistic simulation of real life Supercars racing.
The news comes after Jack Smith managed to have a spectacular crash at the top of the mountain during qualifying for tonight’s Bathurst Supercars All Stars E-Series, with his customary approach of entering corners backwards making a smooth transition from the real to the simulator world.
“Yeah. It seems like going into corners forwards might be better after all.” Jack told The Waterton Chronicle.
Simona de Silvestro, meanwhile, reinforced the realism of the iRacing platform by qualifying at the back of the field.
“Yeah, I should probably just go a bit faster.” Simona explained.
More to come.
