TEKNO, sorry, “Team Sydney” has reportedly finished building their sim rigs for the upcoming BP Supercars E-Series Presented by Coronavirus, with team boss Jono Webb for some reason talking up the Brisbane-based outfit’s chances of winning the whole thing.

Team Sydney boss Jono Webb told The Waterton Chronicle the team is “really happy” with the finished product.

“Yeah it’s come together nicely really. And we’re happy we’ve been able to use locally sourced timber and a locally sourced drivers seat from one of our mechanic’s old VN Commodores.” Jono explained.

This reporter understands the team cut down a couple of the palm trees outside their Brisbane (a little-known suburb on the northern fringes of Sydney) workshop for use in what Jono is calling a “serious contender” for the E-Series championship.

“We definitely would have won the real-life championship if it wasn’t for this meddling coronavirus.” Jono explained.

Now with Chris (Pither) using our state of the art palm tree sim rig, and Alex (Davison) using his brother’s ten-year-old Xbox 360 wheel and pedals, we’ll be hard to beat.”.
