Reports are coming in tonight that some guy in Ballarat or Bacchus Marsh or Betoota or somewhere like that might have taken to social media to have a bit of a whinge about the upcoming Supercars E-Series.
Apparently Barry Roberts thought he was being original when he took to Facebook this morning to let everyone know his thoughts on the whole E-Series thing.
“Video games? No fhanx (sic)” he commented in a post on a Supercars page.
“If I wanted to watch video games I’d head to me local video arcade!” he helpfully added.
“It’s just like bloody Space Invaders! Get a Holden!” he concluded.
Many were quick to point out that his advice to “Get a Holden!” is not as easy to follow as it used to be, which didn’t go down well with Holden fans once someone clearly explained to them the meaning behind the statement.
Barry was spotted on a different Facebook page complaining about the E-Series not being on Channel 10.
“Foxscum! Should be on 10! Discusting! (sic)” he said.
Efforts by others to tell him the races will be streamed free on Facebook and YouTube were met with an instant block by the open-minded Triple 8 fan.
