Macca’s tense relationship with rear brakes everywhere has continued today after the BJR driver had yet another argument with his rear brakes despite the race meeting being cancelled earlier today.
The incident unfolded as Macauley was leaving the circuit to head home this afternoon. As he went to stop for the traffic lights on Albert Road the rear brakes decided to pack the now customary tanty, apparently over working conditions.
The Waterton Sports Chronicle spoke to Macauley’s right rear rotor, looking for some sort of explanation.
“We don’t really have a reason, to be honest. We just didn’t feel like doing what he told us to do. So we didn’t do it.” explained the rotor.
This reporter understands the team is working with Macauley and his rear brakes to see if they can reach some sort of mutual understanding before Tasmania.
