A New Zealand National Party MP has today decided the best way to tackle the coronavirus “pandemic” is by inviting a large group of people to all hang out in the same room for a couple of hours.

The Waterton Daily Chronicle asked the MP for Tukituki, Lawrence Yule, what the logic behind encouraging people to avoid coronavirus by getting them all gathered in one spot was.

“Because, reasons.” he explained.

“Like, we’ll have some experts there that will make sure people know to avoid large gatherings and stuff.” he added.

This reporter understands the idea for the meeting came about after Yule reminisced about “the good old days” of the 1980s when all you had to do to avoid dying from infectious diseases was put everyone in a room together watching movies and eating popcorn all night.

“Yeah, my kids only got chicken pox once.” Yule explained.
