As the implosion of Team Sydney continues to keep Supercars fans entertained between rounds, speculation is swirling that James Courtney might have packed up and left after a dispute over who gets the last Coke in the team fridge.

The Waterton Sports Chronicle has learned that things came to a head on Saturday evening after James headed for the fridge, and what everyone assumes was the last free Coke for a while.

“Bro, haven’t you had enough?” Jono asked James.

“I’m pretty sure I’m allowed as many as I want mate. How many have you had?” James shot back.

“Nah that one’s mine bro. Leave it there.” Jono hissed.

“Call it payment for you binning the car at Turn 8 again.” Webb added in a brutal jab at Courtney’s history of making his car become one with the wall at Turn 8 in Adelaide.

With that James began to well up with tears. “You know what! I’m done Jono! You’re so mean! I’m done!” he yelled as he zipped up his suitcase and headed for the door.

Having successfully defended his can of Coke, Jono began to have a think about the significantly lower priority issue of who will drive the car at the Melbourne GP event in a couple of weeks.

“Renee Gracie isn’t doing much at the moment.” he muttered to himself.
