Apparently still with no idea what car they’ll be running in 2021, Triple 8 team boss Roland Dane has reportedly spent the morning checking out some options on Gumtree.
“It’s been a bit tough to be honest. There’s a lot of really cheap “Holdens” out there, but we probably should be racing cars that are still going to be built next year if we want to be even a little bit relevant.” explained Dane.

“So we’re kinda left with no choice but to go with something second-hand’ added Roland.
“Once we weeded out the Nigerian scammers, I did find a few low k’s KIA Stingers but we’re a bit worried people will laugh at us when we tell them we drive a KIA.”
Head of Supercars Paulie the Parity Pelican told this reporter whatever car Triple 8 ends up going with, he will make sure it’s winning races “from day one”.
More to come.
