Reports are coming in that Supercars have issued a fine to Scott McLaughlin and given him a 1-star rating after he apparently snubbed Gizzy’s Uber request at the end of the Superloop Adelaide 500 yesterday.

Head of Supercars Paulie the Parity Pelican said they had analysed footage of the cool-down lap and decided that Scotty had “plenty of opportunities” to accept the job and bring SVG back to the pits.

“The fact that Cam Waters managed it proves that Scotty could have done the same thing, but he didn’t, for some reason.” explained Paulie.

“That, together with the fact he broke parity rules by winning the race, is a major concern to us.”.

When The Waterton Sports Chronicle asked Paulie if they would have fined Scotty if he had picked up Shane, he paused for a bit before mumbling “probably, yeah.”.
