Supercars Announces Plan To Make Sure Triple 8’s “Talent” Doesn’t Lose This Year

After failing to gift Triple 8 another championship win in 2019 despite their best efforts, Supercars has today announced a comprehensive strategy to make sure the same thing doesn’t happen in 2020.

Head of Supercars Paulie the Parity Pelican explained that the organisation had already achieved Step One in it’s five step plan to make Triple 8 win again.

“Yeah with Scotty McLaughln heading to America next year, most of our work is done to be honest.” he explained.

Paulie did explain however that the threat of new teams entering the series was being “closely monitored”.

“Step Two in our plan is to make sure we make the series as unattractive as possible to new teams, so that Triple 8 can get back to winning everything.” explained the seabird.

Paulie explained that Supercars has learned a lot from the “unfortunate Penske situation”.

“We probably should have acted more quickly to stop Penske entering the series, yeah. But we’ve learned a lot from that and moving forward we’ll do our best to make sure only Triple 8 wins.” Paulie explained.

The Waterton Sports Chronicle understands that Step Three is focused on adding more weight to the roof of the Mustang if they happen to beat Triple 8 at any point during the 2020 season.
