BBL: Brisbane Heat Chasing New Record Again Tonight

Following their record-breaking effort last time out against this season’s powerhouse Renegades team, the Brisbane Heat are off to the perfect start in their attempt to smash some more records tonight.

Clearly not wanting to risk actually putting in a decent batting effort for fear it may confuse their fans, or even worse, make them late for their 9pm dinner reservation, former “bash brother” and alleged captain of the team Chris Lynn headed back to the sheds in the fourth over with an inspiring 7 off 3 balls.

The Waterton Sports Chronicle understands the team are pretty happy with  how things are going.

“Yeah look, we’re pretty happy with how we’ve executed our game-plan so far. We reckon we’re well on track for another batting collapse, and this one could smash our last effort out of the park!” said coach Darren Lehmann.

At 4/38 after 6 overs, and absolutely no hope if AB de Villiers doesn’t remember how to hit the ball, the Heat are well on track to absolutely smash the record for fastest collapse two games in a row.

“Meh, at least we won’t have to rush to get to the restaurant.” said Chris Lynn.
