Williams F1 Team Finally Figures Out What’s Been Going Wrong

In a spot of good news for anyone who’s still for some reason a fan of the Williams Formula One Team, they’ve apparently accidentally figured out why they’ve been so completely useless over the last few years.

In a statement released this morning, Team Principal Claire Williams explained that after spending the last few years trying to figure out how to at least only get lapped twice in a race, one of the team’s new employees made a breakthrough over the weekend.

“Well, it’s quite silly really.” said Claire.

“One of our new merchandise designers was rearranging desktop icons on the company laptop we supplied to her, when she stumbled across some old engine and aero design files. The laptop used to belong to a junior car designer who spent a couple of weeks here on work experience back in 2013.” Claire continued.

“Soooo, it turns out, hehe, we’ve kinda accidentally been running to Formula 2 regulations since the changes back in 2014. Oopsie” she said with a chuckle.

Ths reporter didn’t ask Nico Rosberg for comment, but he piped up anyway to make sure everyone knew his opinion on the matter.

“It’s not good yeah? How does this happen yeah?” he explained and asked at the same time.

Jacques Villeneuve told this reporter “Now that they’ll be running F1 cars again, I’m predicting Nicholas Latifi will be 2020 World Champion.”.
