A Waterton insurance sales rep who thinks Forza Horizon is “real realistic, bro” has gone one step further today after claiming victory at the team’s indoor karting race.
Simon Dudd (23) and his colleagues headed to Waterton Grand Prix indoor kart track, which also does laser tag, for a bit of healthy competition to celebrate not having to work Christmas Day this year.
Dudd was always pretty confident of his ability in the lead up to the race, making sure that everyone in the office knew how much XP he’s got on Forza Horizon 4.
“I’ve got three stars on every challenge, bro.” he told a disinterested colleague.
“The physics in Forza are so realistic bro. It’s pretty much as close as you can get to the simulators they use in F1” he reckons for some reason.
After a shaky start to the kart race, where Dudd went full Maldonado into the tyres trying get around his assistant manager Karen, he managed to recover to a solid second place behind complaints manager Bryce.
Dudd did however manage to nab the fastest lap with a 39.434, making sure that everyone else knew about it.
“I was only 7 seconds off the lap record bro!” he told Bryce.
“With a few more laps I reckon I would have smashed it, bro.” he yapped.
